Creating art can help a child nurture not only a strong self-esteem, but also certain motor and communication skills as well. That is why the Texas Personal Injury Lawyers with Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers are supporting Youth Art Month this March.
The firm would like to point out several upcoming events and courses that allow children to channel their artistic side, including:
- Kids Dance Around The World- This Thursday, at 4 p.m., at the Austin Ballet, children ages 5-8 years old can learn many types of dance from different countries, such as African Dances and Latin Salsa. Parents are welcome to join in as well!
- Austin Afternoon Delight- The event will be held on Saturday, March 29, at Painting With A Twist in Austin. The class is a step-by-step instructional session that will allow teens 15 years old and up to create an original painting.
- Children’s Day Art Park- The festival will take place on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. beginning on June 11 and running until July 30. For just $.50, children can enjoy music, dance, magic, storytelling, and even a petting zoo.
The firm is also showing several pieces of art created by local 5th Grade students at Jones Elementary in the office. The pieces have been shaped using a number of mediums and display beautiful landscapes to abstract shapes.
We encourage citizens to stay up to date with the programs the firm is supporting by regularly checking our social media outlets and the Community Involvement page of our website.
