Numerous polls have ranked the hill country of Texas, including the great city of Austin, as one of the top destinations of places to live or visit. It’s not hard to believe either, considering the plethora of events that call the region home. - 3rd Annual Moontower Comedy Fest- The event will be held on April 23-26 at several different venues in the city, with a lineup of entertainment that includes Aziz Ansari, The Kids In The Hall, Dennis Miller, and Saturday Night Live Alum, Fred Armisen, with his special guest, Ian Rubbish.
- X Games- Just weeks prior to the comedy festival, extreme sport athletes and an accompanying music festival will take over the Austin360 Amphitheatre.
- Austin Food & Wine Festival- On April 25-27, world-renowned chefs and sommeliers will gather at Butler Park and Republic Square Park to share their delectable creations and selections.
- SXSW- The event began in 1987 and now attracts more than 100,000 visitors to the city each year with its combined film, technology, and music festivals taking part over March 7-16.
