I like to think I’m not living life to the fullest unless I’m helping others. I believe in the power of devoting time and energy into people other than myself. Working to benefit someone else is just in my DNA, and it’s what I’ve dedicated much of my personal and professional life to doing.
Before I worked with Daniel Stark Law, I was the director of a senior living community. Prior to that, I spent 30 years as a public school administrator. These days, I’m a full-time realtor, but I also work part-time on the Client Response Team with Daniel Stark. I previously knew both Danny Daniel and Jonathan Stark, as we all attended the same church. Some three years ago, they approached me to work with their clients. I’ve always liked what Daniel Stark stands for as a law firm. They specialize in helping people in times of need, so I saw this as yet another avenue for me to support my community.
As a Client Response Team Member, I meet with new clients at their homes and help them complete our legal documents as well as gather information about their injury case. However, my work is so much more personal than that. It’s my job to make sure the client is comfortable with the legal process. When I meet with new clients I get to know them while explaining who we are and what they can expect after hiring our firm. I want our new clients to know that we are here to help and will walk along side them during this difficult time. My goal is to leave new clients with a sense of relief that our team is going to take care of them.
My spare time is just as dedicated to helping others as my professional work, especially during the holiday season. I’m a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, and I also sell Christmas trees for our local Lions Club. I also have 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 7 grandkids, and I love to spend time with my family whenever a chance presents itself.
Although the Striblings don’t have big holiday plans, we do love to travel. This year, I took my wife to Hawaii for her birthday and our anniversary, but we’ve been all over. One of our sons lived in Spain for about five years, so we took a lot of trips to Europe during that time to visit the grandkids.
I love getting out and seeing the world, but when I come home, my passion is in helping people, and I enjoy that work so much that it hardly seems like work. It’s just what I’m meant to do. I probably wouldn’t be with Daniel Stark Law, if I didn’t completely believe in the work they do. I do believe in Daniel Stark wholeheartedly and I’m lucky that I can fulfill my passion for helping others in my role here. I love working at a place that transforms people’s lives and gives a bad situation a remarkable ending.
Wishing everyone a happy holiday season and a great New Year!
