Holiday Under the Stars
Killeen’s annual “Holiday Under the Stars” event is back this year! Join the Killeen community on December 6th to witness the lighting of the tree in the downtown historic district from 6-8 p.m. Mayor Debbie Nash-King will be assisted by Santa Claus, himself, to light up downtown with holiday spirit.
It’s a weekend packed with fun with the Jingle Bell Dash 5K kicking off the morning of Saturday, December 7th. Local food and craft vendors will be set up downtown for members of the community to enjoy. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Come by the following weekend, Saturday, December 14th, to see the annual Christmas parade starting at 6 p.m.
Christmas Market
Still needing gifts for that special someone? The Charming Haven‘s got you covered! Join in on the fun on December 7th, beginning at 10 a.m. to stock up on some unique gifts for friends and family, or spoil yourself with these must-haves! Local food trucks and a variety of vendors will be set up for patrons to browse and enjoy.
Christmas shopping is half the fun of the holiday, so make sure to check out the Killeen Christmas Market on December 15th from 1-7 p.m., where over 60 local vendors will be set up ready to help you find the perfect gifts.
Christmas on Clear Creek
Nothing could put you in the holiday spirit like Christmas on Clear Creek! Bring your kiddos to AdventHealth Central Texas on December 12th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to experience a truly unique Christmas event.
With the trees decorated in dazzling lights and carolers singing the best Christmas tunes, you and your family will have the opportunity to interact with the cutest animals at the petting zoo! Stick around for goodies and hot chocolate as you await the arrival of Santa! Children will have the chance to share their Christmas wishes and snap a photo with the jolliest man of all.
A Killeen Country Christmas
Nothing screams Christmas in Texas like BBQ and live music! Join Caron’s Community and Band of Brothers for a Killeen Country Christmas on December 14th, from 1-6 p.m. Car lovers will have the opportunity to browse through unique and custom cars at the truck show. Live music will be provided by Griffith Switch and two-time Gold and Platinum Award Winner Stephen Milano!
This event has some outrageous fun for all ages, so bring the kids along. There will be a bounce house, face painting, vendors, and much more for the whole family to enjoy. This is a hoedown you won’t want to miss.
Craft Days for Kids
With the kiddos out of school, we are all looking for ways to keep them occupied during this long Christmas break. Stop by The Charming Haven on December 21st, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for some free family fun!
Games, arts and crafts, and card-making will be available for your children to show off their holiday creativity. All supplies will be provided by The Charming Haven. While your kids are crafting, feel free to shop around to find any last-minute gifts you need under the tree.
