Meet Glenn Starks, Daniel Stark’s newest and youngest Partner of the firm.
Born in Ohio, Glenn’s family moved to Texas when he was just three years old. He was raised in the vibrant community around southeast Houston. Glenn’s mother was instrumental in his education, homeschooling him with dedication while also pursuing her own higher education. His sisters supported his learning with encouragement and assistance, and his aunt played a key role as well, offering guidance and wisdom throughout his journey. Together, this strong support system instilled in him the values of perseverance and a passion for lifelong learning.
Sports also played a significant role in Glenn’s youth. He grew up playing football and basketball, later adding baseball and track to his high school activities. His father, a member of the Texas A&M–Kingsville Javelinas Hall of Fame and former NFL player for teams like the Seahawks and Patriots, greatly influenced Glenn’s early interest in sports.
After graduating from Kempner High School in 2008, Glenn pursued higher education at Baylor University, influenced by its Christian environment. Originally set on a path to play college football, he soon realized that being an NFL star was probably not his calling.
At the same time, Glenn met his wife at Baylor. From the moment they connected, it was clear she was the best thing that ever happened to him. Her love, support, and unwavering belief in him have enriched his life in countless ways, inspiring him to strive for greatness.
Glenn chose to major in political science, driven by a deeply personal motivation to become a lawyer. After experiencing the challenges his family faced with inadequate legal representation due to a lack of resources Glenn was determined to provide high-quality legal services to those unable to afford them.
Throughout his time at Baylor Law School, Glenn discovered a passion for practice court, where he honed his litigation skills. During his final semester, he began working for a personal injury firm in Houston. After graduating in 2015, he transitioned to a defense firm, working for the insurance side of personal injury. After just two months, he realized he was fighting for the wrong team and returned to the Plaintiff’s side.
Ultimately, Glenn found his footing by partnering with another lawyer in Houston, where he managed personal injury cases. However, a pivotal change came with the birth of his son during Hurricane Harvey—a dramatic event that led his family to seek a new start away from flood-prone areas.
In 2017, Glenn and his family moved to Bryan, Texas, where he joined Daniel Stark as an NCT Attorney. He has since transitioned to litigation, and his dedication and expertise earned his promotion to Partner in September 2024. Glenn’s approach to law is driven by empathy and a commitment to standing up for clients who may not know how to navigate the legal system or recognize the challenges posed by insurance companies. He says, “They don’t know insurance is out to get them, so I like standing in their place and getting to protect them, focusing on their stories and using that to help them and get them back to where they were before.”
Outside the courtroom, Glenn is deeply involved in his community, serving with his church and coaching youth sports teams, including his son’s flag football team. He finds joy in mentoring young athletes and cherishes the opportunity to give back.
Glenn and his wife are devoted parents to their two children. Though life’s demands have scaled back his hobbies, he enjoys woodworking and collecting vinyl records, a passion that offers a break from his busy life.
Glenn says, if he hadn’t become a lawyer and money was no object, he would renovate houses and help those in need, drawing inspiration from figures like Ty Pennington. His vision would be to build homes and transform neighborhoods, which reflects his deep-seated desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
His compassion and unwavering commitment to serving his clients make him an invaluable member of the Daniel Stark team. We are so honored to have him representing our clients as a litigation attorney and our firm as a new Partner.
