Many volunteer fire departments are underfunded. Daniel Stark donates $5,000 to a Texas Volunteer Fire Department every year to give them the tools they need to keep their community safe.

Meet our Volunteer
Fire Departments
Leroy-Axtell VFD
The Leroy-Axtell Volunteer Fire Department operates out of Axtell, Texas.
They used their funding for:
- Purchasing a new set of battery-powered extrication tools. These tools significantly reduce the time that it takes to rescue someone trapped inside of a crashed vehicle.
Brazos County D2 VFD
The Brazos County District 2 Volunteer Fire Department operates out of two stations in Kurten, Texas.
They used their funding for:
- Purchasing a new set of battery-powered extrication tools. These tools significantly reduce the time that it takes to rescue someone trapped inside of a crashed vehicle.
Kempner VFD
The Kempner Volunteer Fire Department operates out of three stations in Kempner, Texas.
They used their funding for:
- Upgrading a used fire engine with new equipment and gear.
- Maintaining and servicing the fire engine.
- Buying protective gear for volunteer firefighters.
Did you know that 70% of Texas fire departments rely on volunteers? However, many departments lack the funding needed to acquire life-saving equipment, hindering their ability to respond to emergencies.
At Daniel Stark, we are dedicated to equipping first responders with the necessary tools for community safety. Inspired by Amanda Ruble’s efforts to fundraise for the Leroy Volunteer Fire Department in Axtell, Texas, we strive to support underfunded fire departments across the state.
