BRYAN, Texas — Daniel Stark, a Texas personal injury firm, is excited to announce the recipients of their annual Extraordinary Scholarship Program. This year, five outstanding students each received $1,000 towards their college tuition.
“At Daniel Stark, our core values revolve around the idea of being extraordinary,” said Madeline Edwards, community coordinator. “Being extraordinary isn’t about having the highest grades or being the most involved student; it’s about dedication and perseverance. We aim to honor younger students for their achievements and help set them up for future success.”
Applicants were asked to submit an essay explaining a turning point in their lives that resulted in extraordinary results along with a letter of recommendation. The Daniel Stark scholarship committee selected winners who were set apart by their dedication and perseverance to stop settling for ordinary.

Ananya Khanna – Austin, Tx attending University of Texas at Austin
Bao Nguyen – College Station, Tx attending Texas A&M University
Serenity Howery – Killeen, Tx attending University of Texas at Austin
Jasmine Short – Tyler, Tx attending Texas A&M – Commerce
Samual Smith – Waco, Tx attending Texas A&M University
Bao Nguyen, an aspiring food scientist, wrote about his journey as an immigrant from Vietnam. His perseverance to learn English and excel in his academics despite his language barrier inspired the scholarship committee.
Nguyen said, “I still remember being shocked and honored to have an opportunity like this. When I first applied, I tried my best and had high hopes but didn’t really know if I would get it. I was super grateful and want to thank Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.”
Samual Smith aspires to become a criminal attorney. Upon receiving the scholarship, Smith expressed his gratitude, saying, “I was excited and so thankful. It takes a lot of burden off of me. This scholarship is part of what allows me to go to college without taking on student debt.”
