Arash Karimi is a seasoned Litigation Attorney who leads the General PI Department at Daniel Stark. Born and raised in Indiana, PA, a small rural town renowned as the hometown of actor Jimmy Stewart and environmental activist Edward Abbey, Arash’s journey has taken him from the heart of Pennsylvania to various parts of the United States. After moving from Indiana, PA, to attend university, he has lived in Washington, DC, South Bend, IN, Portland, OR, and now calls Austin, TX, home. His experiences across the country provide him with a unique perspective and enable him to connect genuinely with jurors and clients from all walks of life.
Arash attended American University, where he majored in International Studies, graduating in 2014. He pursued his legal education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2018. His journey with Daniel Stark began in 2021, inspired by the firm’s fearless approach to taking on big insurance and corporate wrongdoers, aligning perfectly with his professional ethos. The move also allowed him to return to Austin, TX, where his wife is originally from, ensuring they could be closer to family.
Before joining Daniel Stark, Arash fought tirelessly for civil justice on behalf of ordinary people. At Kafoury & McDougal, a leading personal injury trial firm in Portland, OR, he nurtured his passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury litigation. Later, as a trial attorney at the non-profit Oregon Law Center (OLC), Arash represented tenants against large real estate entities, addressing issues ranging from housing discrimination to protective order bench trials for survivors of sexual assault.
