Jonathan Stark is a founding partner and the head of Daniel Stark’s litigation department. He grew up in west Texas and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law. He resides in College Station, Texas, with his wife, Kristi, and their two beautiful daughters, Abby and Avery.
An innovator, Jonathan has designed and co-developed several personal injury-specific computer applications which have greatly increased both client services and inter-office efficiencies. Several of these applications are now marketed nationally and internationally and are allowing law firms across the United States and Canada to provide outstanding client services in a technologically relevant way.
Jonathan is also a dynamic speaker, a skill that is especially relevant as the firm’s head litigator. Among his remarkable accomplishments in the courtroom, achieving a $41 million verdict in Currie v. Landry, et al. is particularly noteworthy. This significant case earned him a spot on Top Verdict’s list of the Top 20 Verdicts in Texas for 2023, further cementing his status as a passionate and effective advocate for justice.
He is often asked to speak at conferences across the globe on topics including providing outstanding client services, law office management, law firm culture—including Daniel Stark’s Core Purpose and Core Values, increasing clients’ recovery through the use of technology, and the integration of technology into personal injury case management.
When not practicing law, Jonathan loves to spend time with his wife and daughters. As an avid bass fisherman, he can often be found exploring the depths of freshwater lakes across Texas. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of Healing Faith, a Christian ministry providing medical care to those suffering from malaria, he often travels to Uganda, Africa, to serve families being devastated by the effects of malaria. Jonathan is eternally optimistic and is a firm believer that life’s three most important rules are to (1) love God, (2) love others, and (3) stay calm.
